South Banks Towns Location — Lakeview Village, Mississauga
Location is the input a price tracker can actually hold. South Banks Towns (formerly Coastal Towns / Coastal Townhomes) sits at 1110 Lakeshore Road East, Mississauga, inside Lakeview Village. The street address is consistent. The postal code is not: older Coastal Townhomes-era pages give L5E 1E8; more recently observed South Banks listings give L5E 1E4. This page treats L5E 1E4 as more likely current and flags both so a contract is not drafted on a guessed code. [UNVERIFIED — confirm before publishing.]
Lakeview Village is a 177-acre waterfront redevelopment of the former Lakeview Generating Station on Lake Ontario. The plant’s four smokestacks — the Four Sisters — came down in 2005. What replaced that industrial edge is a multi-builder district, not a single-brand community. Homes, parks, a pier, a marina, and an Innovation District share the same shoreline. That mix is why South Banks prices cannot be read in isolation from Aura and Pier House, and also why those other projects’ deposits cannot be copied here.
Broader master-plan context — not a South Banks-specific claim — includes more than $1 billion in surrounding infrastructure investment cited by listing sources, and a roughly 20-acre Innovation District projected to bring 9,000-plus jobs. Those figures support a long-horizon location thesis. They do not replace a verified asking price. Prices, sizes, specifications, and availability are subject to change without notice. E.&O.E. Parks that sit beside the price
Immediately beside this shoreline is the Jim Tovey Lakeview Conservation Area, a 64-acre (26-hectare) public waterfront park. Credit Valley Conservation and local reporting describe a park built in part from recycled demolition material from the former power plant, connecting into the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail. Scarce GTA waterfront parkland is one of the reasons investors look at this district. It is still not a guaranteed amenity inside an unreleased South Banks block plan.
Named parks nearby include Lakefront Promenade Park and Marie Curtis Park. The Deco and Opus Homes marketing site southbanks.ca describes Lakeview Village as having over 50 acres of parks and greenspace, public promenades, retail, restaurants, and employment, and places South Banks steps from the marina, the pier, and the park. Other sources still cite 45-plus acres village-wide plus a 600-metre pier with a retail boardwalk. Walking times from a specific South Banks townhome to each park depend on the unreleased site plan. Do not underwrite a view premium until that plan exists.
Transit and carrying-cost geography
Reported access includes Long Branch GO Station at roughly 4–8 minutes, Port Credit at about 8 minutes, the QEW under 10 minutes, Highway 427, and Toronto Pearson International Airport. Travel times of approximately 20 minutes to Mississauga City Centre and 30–40 minutes to downtown Toronto vary slightly by source. Shopping context cited nearby includes Square One Shopping Centre and Sherway Gardens.
Those commute bands matter for resale comparables. They do not justify treating the $549,990 southbanks.ca start as a plan-by-plan price, or picking the $700,000s band over it. Transit is a constant across the three Lakeview Village townhome builders; price, title, and product mix are not.
South Banks vs Aura vs Pier House
Three named townhome releases share this 177-acre plan. South Banks Towns is Deco Homes and Opus Homes at 1110 Lakeshore Road East. Aura Lakeview Village Towns is Caivan Communities. Pier House Towns is Branthaven. Each is a separate project. School names sometimes listed beside Pier House — Cawthra Park Secondary and St. Paul Secondary — are general-area references only. They are not confirmed as the catchment for this address. Peel District School Board and Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board cover the wider Lakeview area; confirm catchment before purchasing.
| Community | Builder and notes |
|---|---|
| South Banks Towns (formerly Coastal Towns)Deco Homes & Opus Homes | 120+ three-storey townhomes at 1110 Lakeshore Road East. southbanks.ca headlines Coastal Townhomes from $549,990; other listings still cite the $700,000s or a span to about $1 million. Fall 2026 launch; 2028 completion. Title is not stated on southbanks.ca. |
| Aura Lakeview Village TownsCaivan Communities | A separate townhome release inside the same 177-acre master plan. Useful as a competing waterfront town comparable — not a rename of Coastal Towns and not a Deco/Opus price proxy. |
| Pier House TownsBranthaven | Another distinct Lakeview Village townhome by a different builder. Deposit schedules, school notes, and incentives published beside Pier House should not be copied onto South Banks underwriting. |
An investor comparing the three should ask each builder for current pricing, deposit structure, occupancy, and legal title — then compare those four inputs, not brochure adjectives. This tracker only stores South Banks Towns registrations. It will not invent Aura or Pier House numbers to fill a table.
